About the Team The S/4HANA Industry Cloud Solutions IN development team builds new SAP Business Technology Platform-based applications and services that support SAP’s Industry Cloud Strategy. SAP’s Industry Cloud offerings augment SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise strategy. The Intelligent Enterprise strategy includes the applications of the Intelligent Suite, Business Technology Platform, and the Industry Cloud Solutions that are relevant for running an Industry as an Intelligent Enterprise. Our development team focuses on addressing business problems and enabling new opportunities for the Industry Cloud. We provide Business Technology Platform based solutions for evolving business segments. Role Information The S/4HANA Industry Cloud Solutions IN development team builds new SAP Business Technology Platform-based applications and services that support SAP’s Industry Cloud Strategy. Excise Tax Management application is a BTP based application and supports SAP’s Industry Cloud Strategy. Excise tax management is used to track and trace all excise tax-relevant goods movements for a warehouse. It provides comprehensive data maintenance functions that enable the organization to calculate relevant taxes and compile customizable reports to be provided to the authorities. As a Technical Lead in the Excise Tax management team, your responsibilities are, Manage project/Scrum team and ensure delivery according to project / program-specific goals. The candidate should be able to facilitate the team as Scrum Master/technical lead and guide the team in adhering to agile practices. Support design, development, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific (complex) product features in a development team Project Planning, Scheduling, Leading Teams without formal authority, Risk, Change and Conflict Management, Project Communication and Monitoring, Commitment Management Manage inbound and outbound communication, monitors development progress and execution of project KPIs, provides input for risk mitigations, has prime presentation skills Manage stakeholders actively: provide transparency on project/program status, ensure timely escalation, manage dependencies, initiate regular stakeholder satisfaction assessments (e.g. surveys) Analyse and solve issues in existing and new code and guide the team in those issues. Apply Agile Software Engineering principles and DevOps model for continuous delivery Work with all development process contributors, e.g. Product Owners, Architects, Project Management, Scrum Masters, Developers, User Assistance Developer, and DevOps to establish and execute a flawless development process Role Requirement 8-10 years of experience in leading development projects as project/technical lead. Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering or Technology (BE/BTech) or allied branches, or Master in Computer Applications. Prior experience as Scrum lead Excellent knowledge in Java / J2EE programming environment / Multithreading, Spring Boot Server-side programming such as Node.js Building oData services, Microservices Cloud Foundry SAP Business Technology Platform & CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) SAP UI5, Fiori ABAP knowledge will be a plus Familiarity with DevOps model for cloud development & continuous delivery Agile Software Engineering methodology, incl. test automation Interpersonal and collaboration skills Worked in global teams with high levels of collaboration Ability to work with the team in the design and development aspects of the product Excellent programming know-how We are SAP SAP innovations help more than 400,000 customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
